Cast Copper Heater

The cast copper heater uses tubular electric heating elements (heating rods) as the heating body, which are bent into shape. Made of high-quality copper material via centrifugal casting, it is available in various shapes, including round, flat, right-angle, air-cooled, water-cooled and other special profiles. After precision finishing, it can closely fit the heated object.

Its normal operating temperature ranges from 150℃ to 450℃, with a maximum working temperature of 500–600℃, and the surface load can reach 3.5–5.0 W/cm². Widely applicable to equipment in petroleum, chemical, plastic machinery, cable machinery, die head, rubber and other industries.

Notes for Use of Metal Cast Heaters

1.The operating voltage shall not exceed 10% of the rated voltage; the relative air humidity shall not exceed 95%, and the working environment shall be free of explosive and corrosive gases.

2.The wiring part shall be placed outside the heating layer and thermal insulation layer, and the shell must be effectively grounded. Keep it away from corrosive, explosive media and moisture. The lead wire shall withstand the temperature and heating load of the wiring area for long-term use. Do not apply excessive force when tightening the wiring screws.

3.Store the metal cast heater in a dry place. If the insulation resistance drops below 1 MΩ due to long-term storage, bake it in an oven at about 200℃ for 5–6 hours to restore normal performance. Alternatively, heat it with reduced voltage until the insulation resistance recovers.

4.Secure and fix the metal cast heater properly. The effective heating area must be in close contact with the heated workpiece. Dry burning is strictly prohibited. Promptly clean up dust and contaminants on the surface before use to avoid poor heat dissipation and shortened service life.

5.Prevent contaminants and moisture from penetrating into the magnesium oxide powder at the outlet of the electric heating tube, so as to avoid electric leakage accidents.
