Water Tank Heating Tube

Custom high-quality stainless steel electric heating tubes are manufactured to match customers’ water tank heating requirements. Available configurations include U-type heating tubes with fasteners, flange heating tubes, threaded heating tubes, as well as submersible heating tubes with waterproof terminals that can be immersed directly into water for heating.

1.Construction Structure

A stainless steel heating tube adopts a metal sheath as outer casing. Spiral electric heating alloy wires (nichrome, iron-chromium alloy) are arranged axially along the tube core, with the interstitial space fully packed and compacted with magnesium oxide powder featuring superior insulation and thermal conductivity. Both tube ends are sealed with silicone rubber or ceramics. Such metal-sheathed heating elements are applicable for heating air, metal moulds and various liquids.

2.Operation Instruction

Stainless steel heating tubes are electric components converting electric energy into thermal energy. Featuring low cost, easy installation and zero pollution, they are widely used across diverse heating scenarios with a designed service life of over 10,000 hours.

High-temperature resistance wires are evenly laid inside seamless high-temperature resistant stainless steel tubes, and crystalline magnesium oxide powder with excellent thermal conduction and insulation is densely filled into gaps. This advanced structure ensures high thermal efficiency and uniform heat emission. When electric current passes through resistance wires, generated heat transfers via crystalline magnesium oxide powder to the outer metal tube surface, then to heated medium or ambient air to realize heating.

3.Product Performance

Water tank heating tubes are fabricated by placing heating elements inside metal tubes and tightly filling gaps with heat-resistant, thermally conductive and insulating crystalline magnesium oxide powder followed by subsequent processing.

They boast simple structure, high mechanical strength, outstanding thermal efficiency, safe operation, easy installation and long service life. Widely applied in nitrate baths, water tanks, oil tanks, acid & alkali tanks, fusible metal melting furnaces, air heating furnaces, drying furnaces, drying ovens and hot pressing dies.
