Crawl Heater

Crawl heaters are available in various shapes, with specifications selectable according to workpiece geometry, wall thickness and heat treatment requirements. They enable direct contact heating with workpieces and feature flexible bending, folding properties. Widely applied to pre-welding preheating, inter-pass hydrogen removal and post-welding local heat treatment of metal components such as pipelines and large vessels.

It is extensively used for pre-welding preheating, inter-pass hydrogen elimination and annealing heat treatment of alloy steel structural parts, pipelines and pressure vessels in boiler, chemical, shipbuilding, power construction, machinery and other industries.

● Structure & Application

Woven with high-temperature resistant multi-strand premium electric heating wires and high-strength high-temperature resistant ceramic parts via special craftsmanship. It can be bent freely along the lengthwise direction, suitable for on-site heat treatment of various industrial equipment and workpieces, drying and temperature rise heating of metal vessels and pipelines, as well as high-temperature external heating of dies and molds.

● Installation & Operation Instructions

1.Arrange single or multiple heaters evenly based on workpiece size. Fix with stainless steel wires or stainless steel hoops fastened by screws.

2.For temperature control and energy saving, wrap 6~8cm thick thermal insulation layer outside heaters and equip with temperature controllers.

3.Do not overlap heaters during use to avoid overheating and service life reduction. Prevent ceramic parts from cracking to avoid exposed heating elements and potential safety hazards.

4.Ensure reliable earthing of heated workpieces. Operating voltage shall not exceed 1.05 times of rated voltage.

LCD Type Crawl Ceramic Heater

This heater adopts high-strength lead oxide ceramic elements with excellent thermal radiation performance as insulation materials and high-quality nichrome cables as heating elements, available in rectangular and triangular shapes.

Nichrome cables and connecting wires are welded with advanced technology, with all welding joints fully embedded inside ceramic parts for reliable insulation. Matched with control equipment, it forms a complete heat treatment system connected by dedicated connectors, with extended wires configurable according to installation distance.

Customizable lengths are available. Select proper specifications based on workpiece shape, wall thickness and heat treatment process requirements.
