For melt-blown molds, cartridge heaters are mounted inside melt-blown die heads to ensure even high temperature inside the die head, especially at spinneret holes. This ensures uniform density of molten materials extruded through the holes. Uniform-temperature cartridge heaters work best for this scenario.
Application of cartridge heaters in melt-blown molds
For uniform heating platforms, multiple cartridge heaters are horizontally embedded into metal flat plates. Power distribution is calculated and adjusted for each heater to realize even surface temperature of the metal plate. Such platforms are widely used for target material heating, precious metal stripping and recovery, mold preheating and other scenarios.
Application of cartridge heaters in uniform heating platforms
The core heating element of cartridge heaters is nickel-chromium heat-resistant alloy wire, which is wound around magnesium oxide core rods with good insulation and thermal conductivity. Magnesium oxide powder is filled between the heating wire and outer sheath as insulating medium, then compressed mechanically to remove internal air for integrated forming.
